Aloft

Erik Wm. Suter is as passionate about flying as he is about music. An airline pilot with 10,000+ hours, he is a First Officer at Southwest Airlines.  Previously, he was a Captain and Line Check Airman on the Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet at Air Wisconsin Airlines flying for United Express. While most of his hours aloft are in an airliner, his first love in flying is general aviation. He maintains currency as a Certified Flight Instructor and can often be found on his days off helping a student attain a new certificate or rating. In addition to his freelance instructing, he serves on the board of the Inn Flying Club as Chief Flight Instructor.

Erik is available to conduct recurrent training events such as Flight Reviews and Instrument Proficiency Checks from Montgomery County Airpark (GAI) and Frederick Airport (FDK). He is current in a wide variety of Cessna, Piper, and Cirrus aircraft. Use the contact form to inquire about rates and availability.
